Dry Season: December-April
Dry season in Pacific Panama means offshore winds, sunny skies, clear water, and very fun swell. Although BIG swells may not be as consistent during this season, we still receive during this time period, surf ranging from waist-high to triple-over-head, and everyday there is something to surf! Beautiful weather, clear waters, and dreamy surf sessions and sunsets. . .
welcome to Summer in Pacific Panama.
Wet season in Pacific Panama is the time when these tropics show their… well, tropical side! During this season its not uncommon to wake up to oil slick glassy surf, only to find yourself getting rained on by a tropical storm through mid-day, which then turns into a calm, beautiful sunset and another great surf. Then yet again more tropical rain at night.
The landscape is extremely lush, tropical, and green during this season, and although the water directly in front of our property may not always be (sometimes it is) as clear as dry season (due to rivers and sand run-off) the water offshore, and all around the islands is still as beautiful as always! Wet season is also a time for PLENTY of swell. Its quite rare you'll find a day with nothing to surf during this season, as the coastline can be continuously pounded by solid surf for nearly the entire season, with bigger swells arriving more often than dry season, and small days still surfable. You can expect surf ranging again from waist-chest all the way to triple over-head during these months.
